How Many Ducks Long?
Pick a dinosaur. The class guesses how many ducks long it is, then the ducks line up beside it and you count them together.

Teacher tips and shortcuts
- Ask for guesses before the ducks come out. Tap the class's guess on the number row. You can also skip the guess and just count.
- Count out loud as each duck sits down. With "One each tap" a new duck comes each time you tap the button or press Space, so you can stop and ask what number comes next.
- The white lines mark the dinosaur's nose and tail. Ducks line up nose to tail with no gaps, starting at the dinosaur's nose.
- Not every dinosaur is a whole number of ducks. A yellow strip means "a bit more". A duck that sticks out past the tail means "nearly".
- Measure the same dinosaur with pigs afterwards. A pig is as long as two ducks, so you need fewer pigs.
- Each card shows what the class measured, so you can compare dinosaurs and put them in order.
- Esc opens this menu, F is full screen, M turns the sound off.
