A chest is buried somewhere on the island. The two sides of the room take turns calling a spot. Each miss shows how many steps away the chest is.

Teacher tips and shortcuts
Tap a spot on the grid to show its name, then tap it again or press Dig. You can also type the spot, for example C4 or 3,5, and press Enter. For negative numbers type a minus sign: -3,2.
Steps are counted along the grid lines: across, then up or down. A diagonal move counts as two steps. A dig 1 step away is right next door.
Ask the side whose turn it is to agree on one spot before they call it. Calling a spot that has already been dug doesn't use up the turn.
Tapped the wrong spot? Undo (or Ctrl+Z) takes back the last dig and gives the turn back.
The side that calls first swaps each round. Esc opens this menu.
