Two teams of animals hold a rope over a mud pit. Get a question right before the other side does, and your team pulls the rope towards you. Pull the other team into the mud to win.

Questions
One question a line. Put the answer after a |, like Capital of Victoria? | Melbourne, or paste two columns from a spreadsheet. The answer can be left off, but then nobody can check typed answers.
Sets you make here or in Castle Siege are kept in this browser, and both games can use them.

Teacher tips and shortcuts
Each question goes to both sides. Whoever gets it right first pulls the rope: 1 step for a tug (an easier question) or 2 for a big heave (a harder one). After 5 steps the other team is in the mud, and that pull is over.
Group v group: split the class in two. Read the question out. The first group with a hand up answers. If they're wrong, the other group can have a go. Press the button for the group that got it, or Nobody got it.
Class v computer: the computer answers too, when its clock runs out. Press ✓ Right as soon as the class gets it. Check answer stops the clock and shows the answer, so you can check what the class said. If the class is wrong, the computer gets its go straight away. If the computer is wrong, the class gets another go with no clock.
One player v computer: for one student on a laptop or tablet. They type the answer and press Enter. Small spelling slips are fine. If the game marks a right answer wrong, they can press I was right.
New question swaps in another one the same size, if a question doesn't suit.
Make questions writes questions with AI. Read through them first: it can get things wrong.
